On a bright Saturday morning at the Race Course, over 250 women and children, adorned in upcycled outfits, embarked on a 2 km journey along the Race Course Road. Led by the presence of esteemed guests, including fashion designer Abinithi Sammbavi Govind and wellness coach Jaya Mahesh, Texcitement became a symbol of collective advocacy for sustainability in fashion. With the hashtag #texcitetoexcitekovai, the event provided a platform for women of all ages to showcase their talents and reinforce the importance of eco-consciousness in the fashion industry. Prizes awaited the participants as a token of appreciation for their dedication to promoting sustainability.

Art Street: A Tapestry of Creativity

Art Street, a captivating segment of Coimbatore Vizha, unfolded its colorful palette on Race Course Scheme Road. Inaugurated by Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati and City Police Commissioner V Balakrishnan, Art Street embraced the theme of Nature’s five elements across five distinct zones. More than 100 exhibitors, workshops, and food stalls adorned the streets, creating an immersive experience for attendees. From intricate artworks to interactive sessions, Art Street showcased Coimbatore’s rich artistic heritage and provided a platform for local artisans to shine. Amidst the bustling atmosphere, RPS students, including Join Hasini. A from Grade 5B, proudly showcased her talents, adding a touch of Creative exuberance to the event.
